For a client in Den Helder we are looking for several construction painters (long term).
What will you do:
You treat the surface of material against premature degradation or corrosion. You first prepare the substrate for this. You apply the finishing layer using a brush or a spray gun. Because you work with chemical substances, the use and knowledge of appropriate protective equipment is important. You use machines, paints and other (hazardous) substances in the correct manner. You strictly adhere to the prescribed (work) procedures and carry out the work in accordance with the applicable safety regulations and legal guidelines.
Do you like this position and can you meet the requirements below?
- experience as industrial paint processing/Metal Preservation or several years of work experience as an industrial painter/sprayer;
- Preferably in possession of a valid VCA (basic safety training) or willing to obtain it (day training)
- flexible to possibly work overtime
- Able to make yourself understood in at least English
- Hour rate of €20 per hour (gross salary)
The company can be reached by car without traffic jams.
You will work in a motivated team. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for the various services. It is a company with a ‘no nonsense’ mentality. The organization is customer-oriented and will always look at the customer’s question and provide a suitable solution.
